What is love?

Love (noun.) --A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.

First Corinthians: Chapter 13: Verses 4-8
(4) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. (5)It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (6) Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (7) It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (8)Love never fails.

Love cannot be put in to words easily; they simply do not do it justices. Perhaps that's why I spent an hour looking for a simple definition, and why the Bible uses so many verses to describe it. Because love is so powerful, so pure, we humans do not fully understand it. Love is beyond any power in this world, love rules us all and we are all bound by it. There is nothing that can destroy love. If you believe in a higher power then you will know that everything was created with love. All man has been given the gift to love one another, to care about one another. However, greed and jealousy has blinded man’s hearts to this.

We are our own worst enemy at times, and have allowed ourselves to put hate before love. How can one see a person in pain and say they do not care, that is not the way that man’s heart were destined to work. That is why this world is the way it is. The world is so hard because we are swimming against the current. People have allowed themselves to hate so much that they do not see the hurt they are causing, its very sad. Every person must look deep within them and find the love that we are meant to have. This world has become cold, but it can change. What people do not realize is that to change this world is not as hard as it may seem. If fact it can be very easy, but we have been fooled in to believing that it is imposable, and so we do not try.

Love is not just Michael’s message; the teachings of love have been in this world since the beginning of time. Our dear Michael was simply another person that was trying to get us to remember what love is. When you are trying to spread the message of love, this is what you must do as well. Help others to find the love that they have lost. Make them remember, we have all been able to love this much at one time. When we were children we had that love, and deep down we still do. That is how I know that this world can be change, because what is lost can always be found.
