Standing Up Against Hate

Hate is the root of all evil. One thing that is just as bad as spreading hate, is seeing hate in action and doing nothing about it. Standing up for someone that is being treated badly is one of the many ways to show love, even to a complete stranger. When you see someone bashing someone else then you need to speak up. If people speak out against injustice, it will be stopped. Never be afraid to stand up for what is right. You have to combat hate by taking positive action and letting it be known that the hate will not be accepted.

Cyber bulling is the number one thing that causes division and hate in the hoax community. The definition of cyber-bullying is "when the Internet, cell phones or other devices are used to send or post text or images intended to hurt or embarrass another person." Words that are said without any thought to the damage that it can truly cause. This should not be taken lightly. This kind of bashing can cause a person to have a variety of emotional responses: it could make them bully back, and only cause more damage, it could make them scared, frustrated, angry, or depressed. This could result in low self-esteem and can even put a person at risk for suicidal behavior.

Many people may find it fun to talk bad and be ugly to others, but there is nothing funny about it. If you see someone that is doing this you must say something, and If you can’t stop them, at least try to help the victim and report the behavior. By doing this you are not being a snitch, you are looking out for the well being of another person, who, in return, may do the same for you.
